The Philippine's most promising chess talent in IM Gian Karlo Chrisitian Arca is on a winning spree after after wins over Oro Faustino, Levon Aronian, and Sarin Nihal. Though he also suffered loses, his wins over these big names gives the country a future promising GM.
The current event is FIDE World Team Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships held in Hong Kong from June 16 to 22.
